The Lynchburg Area Veterans Council is comprised of our local chapters of The American Legion, Vietnam Veterans of America, The Military Order of The Purple Heart, Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Marine Corps League, local motorcycle groups, area businesses and the community. Through these organizations, we offer an assortment of support to our veterans including education, healthcare, financial assistance, housing, transportation and social and sporting events.
